Innovation in technology is not new. New ideas seem to be an inherent part of what defines technology in this day and age. This week’s article is about “social enterprises,” a combination of technology organization that pursues social missions and generates revenue. Go to the link below and read the article. What social missions do you think should be addressed by social enterprises? How should social enterprises generate revenue from their operations? If you were going to start a business in technology, what would it be and how would you include a social mission with it?

From the article I really didn’t understand social mission, although the internet is a really good example for being addressed. The article said that the companies generate their own sustainable revenue/profit. I would make an internet archive and declare it as a social mission.
The social missions that should e addressed by the social enterprises are the ones that are not doing very well and also perhaps that need more money donated to them. If I were to start a business in technology, it would most likely have to do with a system similiar to somethingg like Mozilla, where someone could find just about anything they want on the Internet.
To tell you the truth, I didn't really get what this article is talking about. It was complicated and a little boring (no offense). Social missions that should be addressed by the social enterprise are the organizations that aren’t doing so good and need some guidance to push them through what they’re going through. Social enterprises should generate revenue from their operations by making donations and stuff like that.
If I were going to start a business in technology, it would have to do with the Internet because the Internet changes a lot over the years. I would include a social mission with it by making it nonprofit.
To me this article was like a long conversation between a bunch of people I didn’t really understand what it was about, unlike the past Blogs this one was a bit boring. However I do believe that the organizations that are suffering money wise could use some help from the social enterprise. The social enterprise should generate revenue from their operations by helping in public donations. If I were top start a business in technology it would most likely be on the internet an example would be like facebook I would create a new program with better features and new application added to it.

Like everyone else, I don’t really understand the whole issue being addressed in this article. I really don’t follow this article very well. I would need someone’s help to understand what on earth they are talking about like if you were to give me an example of a social mission and a social enterprise. I can’t really answer any of your questions without understanding the article.
Like other peoples did, I can't understand the article entirely what's talking about. According to the article they generate a sustainable source of profit and do not depend on philanthropy.

I didn’t really understand what article is trying to tell us. I don’t think that the social enterprises aren’t doing so well. I really think they should change how they work. I would make the Internet go faster in schools and around the world so that no one can wait for a long time.
this artical was a little confusing but i beleev that the social mission it totaly bogas. it wont work. makeing an internet web page dusent count as makeing a social mission. the internet is alredy a social activity you cant make a page and say it is a new social misson.
